Prep & Cook Time 3 1/2 hrs
Serves 1 dozen

Ingredients

Oreo cups:

45 Oreo cookies 1 family size pack, finely crushed

½ cup unsalted butter melted

¼ cup Oreo crumbs reserved

Chocolate filling:

½ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup cocoa powder

3 tablespoons cornstarch

2 cups Kemps Chocolate Milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup heavy whipping cream

¼ cup powdered sugar

24 gummy worms

How to

To make the Oreo cups:

Use a food processor or rolling pin to finely crush Oreo cookies.

Reserve ~¼ cup of Oreo crumbs for topping final dessert. Set aside.

Pour the crushed cookies into a medium-sized bowl and mix with melted butter.

Use a tablespoon to spoon ~2 tablespoons of the mixture into each muffin tin. Use the back of the measuring spoon to press the mixture firmly into each cavity to create a cup shape.

Place the muffin tin in the fridge to set while preparing the chocolate filling. They should set for at least 30 minutes.

To make the chocolate filling:

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, chocolate milk, cocoa powder, cornstarch and vanilla. Use a whisk or a fork to mix well, then use the stove to heat the mixture until almost boiling, mixing every 30 seconds.

Use low to medium heat to cook until thickened. Then remove from heat and place the mixture in the fridge to cool (2-3 hours).

Once the pudding mixture has chilled, in a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the pudding mixture.

To assemble the mini dirt cups:

Gently remove the Oreo cups from the muffin tin using a fork or the back of a spoon.

Place the chocolate filling in a piping bag or gallon bag, then cut a 1-2 cm tip.

Pipe the filling into each Oreo cup until full.

Sprinkle each cup with reserved Oreo crumbs and place a gummy worm in the mixture.

Store in the fridge and enjoy chilled.
